Krishna Janmashtami also known Gokul Ashtami or Sreekrishna Jayanti is the function which is celebrating on the malayalam month chingam in kerala,and also one of the main functions in the north. The function tells about Krishna's birthday which was happened in dwapara yuga. This was the eighth avatar of lord maha vishnu.
